François Hollande served as the President of France from May 2012 to May 2017. During his tenure, he implemented key reforms that helped revive the country’s economy, making it more competitive and fostering growth. He also responded decisively to the terrorist attacks that struck France in 2015 and 2016.

As head of state, Hollande made significant choices for the nation, including deploying the military to Mali to combat terrorist groups operating in the Sahel region. His leadership was also instrumental in securing the global climate agreement, which was finalized in Paris in December 2015.

Currently, Hollande leads the foundation “France is committed,” which supports initiatives aimed at strengthening social solidarity and fostering connections among citizens.
