Fleur Pellerin is a French politician and the founder of Korelya Capital. She began her career as a magistrate and advisor at the Court of Auditors in the early 2000s. Additionally, she worked as an external auditor for the UN, which took her to New York, Iraq, and Geneva. From 2010 to 2012, she served as president of Club XXIe Siècle, an association dedicated to diversity and equal opportunities.
Pellerin’s political journey started when she joined Lionel Jospin’s campaign team in 2002. Committed to the left, she later became responsible for the Society and Digital Economy poll during François Hollande’s presidential campaign in 2012. In 2012, she joined the French government as Minister for SMEs, Innovation, and the Digital Economy. In this role, she launched the French Tech initiative, aimed at developing French start-ups to boost economic growth and enhance the international influence of French digital enterprises. In August 2014, she was appointed Minister of Culture and Communication.
Alongside her political career, Fleur Pellerin is a lecturer at the École nationale d’administration (ENA) and has been a Director of the Public Sénat channel since 2011. In the summer of 2016, she founded Korelya Capital, an investment fund to support Korean investments in France in the fields of new technologies and to finance French start-ups by providing them access to Asian markets. In September 2016, she raised 100 million euros for the Naver group to finance Korelya Capital’s activities.
