Fiorella Larissa is the founder and CEO of Cheetah Stories SA, a startup specialising in crafting luxurious, sustainable, vegan high heels called “Cheelettos”, as well as offering consulting and manufacturing services to third parties. Her company aims to revolutionise the fashion industry by combining Italian heritage with cutting-edge technology and innovation.
Before founding Cheetah Stories, Fiorella had an extensive career in humanitarian work. She spent her twenties and early thirties working in conflict zones in the Middle East and East Africa for the International Committee of the Red Cross, where she specialised in negotiations with armed actors. Later, she joined the Competence Centre on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN), where she conducted research on negotiations and trained humanitarian frontline workers and diplomats in high-stakes negotiations.
Despite her career shift from humanitarian work to entrepreneurship, Fiorella continues to work as a professional negotiator for Negotiated Resolutions and trains women in negotiation through her own company.
A passionate academic, Fiorella holds a BA degree in Social Anthropology and Arabic from the University of Zurich, an MA degree in Conflict and Development Studies from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, a Diploma in Animal Behaviour from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
Conversant in multiple languages, including German, English, Arabic, French, Italian, and Swahili, Fiorella offers negotiation workshops and keynote speeches in German, English, and French.
