About Virginie Guyot

Virginie Guyot took her first flight at the age of twelve, igniting her passion for aviation. After completing her secondary studies at the Autun Military College and a scientific preparatory class, she aimed to become a helicopter pilot but was unable to continue due to medical tests. Instead, she joined the Salon-de-Provence Air School in 1997, eventually entering the hunting industry.

In 2002, she joined the 2/33 Savoie Reconnaissance Squadron at Reims Air Base 112, piloting a Mirage F1-CR. By 2007, she became a Squadron Commander and obtained the rank of Commander in 2009. Virginie participated in deployments in Chad (Operation “Sparrowhawk”), Darfur, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan (Operation “Serpentaire”).

In 2009, at the age of 32, Commander Virginie Guyot joined the Patrouille de France, becoming the first female pilot in this aerobatic group. On November 25, 2009, she was named a leader, making her the first woman in the world to command an acrobatic patrol. In 2010, she received a “Woman in Gold” trophy in the “Woman of Achievement” category. After a year in this position, she handed over command to Commander Cédric Tranchon in October 2010.

Virginie then joined the Air Force staff, holding high-responsibility positions in executive training and air force employment strategy. Her media coverage led to invitations from large French and international groups to share her experiences. She quickly realized the similarities between her world and the corporate world.Believing she could inspire her audience through her values and experience in female leadership, she trained in various speaking techniques and studied the business world.

Virginie has since become a recognized and in-demand professional speaker, hosting hundreds of conferences in France and abroad with major companies.
