About Melinda Crane

Dr. Melinda Crane is a seasoned TV anchor and chief political correspondent at Deutsche Welle TV, where she provides analysis on German and European policy and hosts the talk show “Quadriga.” She holds degrees in history and political science from Brown University, a law degree from Harvard, and a PhD in political economy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. As an International Affairs Consultant for the show “Sabine Christiansen,” she produced interviews with notable figures such as Kofi Annan, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and George Bush.

Dr. Crane’s journalistic experience includes contributions to the “New York Times Magazine,” “The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine,” “The Boston Globe,” the “Christian Science Monitor,” and various German newspapers and magazines. She frequently comments on US politics and transatlantic relations for German media and has written for numerous publications in both Germany and the US.
