Daniel Hulme (PhD) is a globally recognized expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and an investor in emerging technologies. He is the CEO of Satalia, an award-winning company providing AI products and solutions for global companies. In 2021, Satalia joined WPP, the world’s largest marketing company, where Daniel now serves as the Chief AI Officer, helping to define, identify, curate, and promote AI capabilities and new opportunities for the benefit of the wider group and society. Daniel has been recognized as one of the top 10 Chief AI Officers globally.
With over 25 years of academic experience in AI, Daniel earned his Masters and Doctorate in AI from University College London (UCL). He previously served as Director of UCL’s Applied AI MSc (Business Analytics) and is currently UCL’s Computer Science Entrepreneur-in-Residence and a lecturer at the London School of Economics’ Marshall Institute, focusing on using AI to solve business and social problems. Daniel is also an Impact Board Member of St Andrew’s University Computer Science department.
