Asha Sumputh is a bilingual TV journalist, fluent in both French and English. She holds degrees from both Cambridge University and Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Asha began her career in 2007 on the French news channel i>Télé before moving on to work with the major network Canal Plus.
Currently, Asha collaborates with various production companies in Paris and across Europe, where she directs and produces high-quality content for television channels and corporate clients.
In September 2015, Asha began presenting Business Africa and Initiative Africa in both French and English. These two programs, broadcast across fifty countries, focus on the economic and political developments taking place on the African continent.
With a specialization in finance and economics, Asha has worked extensively as a television news reporter and as a freelance broadcast journalist. In addition to her journalism career, Asha has hosted major events and conventions as an emcee in prestigious venues such as Bercy, the Zenith in Toulouse, the Trianon in Paris, Printemps de la Mode, Yachts de Paris, the Palais des Congrès, and the Carrousel du Louvre.
